Troubleshooting procedures for the TS-3981 are contained in paragraph 4-6, Monthly Preventive Maintenance,
items 4 thru 10.

FUSE REPLACEMENT
Tools
None.
Required
1.
Removal
Set POWER to OFF.
Turn FUSE cap counterclockwise and pull out to remove.
Pull out fuse.
2.
Replacement
Insert new fuse Fl in FUSE holder.
Replace FUSE cap and turn clockwise to secure.

LAMP REPLACEMENT
Only the lamp for the POWER indicator is replaceable at Organizational level.
Tools
None.
Required
1.
Removal
Set POWER to OFF.
Turn POWER indicator lens assembly counterclockwise and pull out to remove.
Pull out lamp.
2.
Replacement
Insert new lamp DS1 in POWER indicator socket.
Replace lens assembly and turn clockwise to secure.
