The FLTS is unclassified and requires no special security precautions.

3-16.  When storage is only for a short term, 1 to 45 days, the FLTS may be
stored in its combination case.  Store the set indoors in a safe area where it
will be protected from damage or adverse environmental factors such as water or
extreme dust.

LONG

STORAGE
3-17.  For intermediate storage (46 to 180 days) or long term or flyable
storage (180 days or more), it is recommended that the FLTS be stored in its
combination case, and packed securely in its original shipping containers,
using all original packing materials, corner braces, etc.
