TM1-6625-736-13&P SECTION III- TECHNICAL PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION 1-10 PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION 1-10 Power for the Electronic Test Set is provided through the multi-channel (MULTI-CH) connector located on the back of the unit.  In addition, this connection interfaces ACCELEROMETER channels 5-14, TACHO channel 2 and TRACKER channel 2.  Proper connection is obtained when the INTERNAL POWER LED is illuminated. Calibration of the DAU is performed using a Personal Computer (PC), Control and Display Unit (CADU), the DAU, and the appropriate cables.  A printer is optional. The procedure to verify the calibration of the DAU is achieved by programming the CADU with the supplied software via a PC.  Calibration checks are performed automatically by executing the internally stored program downloaded to the  CADU.    Data  from  the  CADU  is  then  compared  with  the  specifications  in  this  manual.    If  desired,  the  user  may produce a hard copy of the results if a printer is connected to the system. 1-6
