1-9 DESCRIPTION
1-9
The Electronic Test Set verifies the calibration of the Data Acquisition Unit (DAU). The test set simulates the
accelerometer, tachometer and tracker signals and contains an optical simulation of the rotor to functionally test the
Universal Tracking Device (UTD).
Connections on the rear panel will cause the appropriate Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to illuminate indicating the
systems connected. These connections are:

Accelerometers 1-4 (ACC 1-4)
b.
Universal Tracking Device/Enhanced Passive Tracker (UTD/EPT)
c.
Magnetic Sensor (MAG SEN)
d.
Tracker 1, 2 (TRKR)
e.
Tachometer 1,2 (TACH)
f.
External Clock (EXT CLK)
g.
External Accelerometer (EXT ACC)
The front panel of the test set contains 28 LEDs, eight switches and the optical tester. Specifically these LEDs are:

e.
ACC 1-14 GND OK
The eight switches are labeled:

ACC1-4 54mV/g / 100mV/g

Active/Passive

ACC Signal Select
The front panel is protected by a removable cover that is locked in place with a draw latch. A folding handle attached
to the top cover allows the unit to be easily transported.
