(a)
Ensure external power and both the DAU and CADU power switches are OFF. Connect the DAU to an
external bench power source of 28 Vdc. : (+28 VDC to pin B and -to pin A).
(b)
Establish a connection from the DAU jack labeled TRACKER 1 to the UTD/EPT jack on the Electronic Test
Set using the UTD Cable, part number 29325701.
(c)
Connect the MULTI-CH connection on the DAU to the MULTI-CH connection on the Electronic Test Set
using cable part number 29283200.
(d)
Connect TACHO1 on the DAU to the MAG SEN connection on the Electronic Test Set using the Magnetic
RPM Sensor Cable, part number 29105403.
(e)
For Test States 1: 4_1,, 1: 16_1 and 1: 64_1, connect ACC1 on the DAU to the connector ACC1 on the
Electronic Test Set using the 25-ft 54 mv/g Accelerometer Cable, part number 29105605.
(f)
For Test States 1: 4_1, 1: 16_1 and 1: 64_1, connect ACC2 on the DAU to the connector ACC2 on the
Electronic Test Set using the 50-ft 54 rv/g Accelerometer Cable, part number 29105600.
(g)
Connect the CADU to the DAU using cable part number 29325601. This connection is made from the front
panel of the DAU to the back panel of the CADU.
(h)
Position TRACKER MODE selector switch on the DAU to DAY.
(i)
If a printer is desired refer to TM 1-6625-724-1 3&P for directions on how to connect the printer to the
CADU.
(j)
Turn on external power source.

PROCEDURE TO VERIFY CALIBRATION OF THE DAU
NOTE
Failure to position the switches in the following order will result in erroneous calibration readings.
(a)
Set the switches on the Electronic Test Set to the following positions:
(1)
54 mV/g 100 mV/g switches to 54 mV/g.
(2)
Active/Passive switch to PASSIVE (3) TACH 2 Mono pulse/Bi pulse switch to Bl PULSE.
(4)
TACH 1 Single/Double switch to SINGLE.
(5)
ACC Signal Select switch to 1: 4.
(b)
Turn the DAU power switch to ON.
(c)
Turn the CADU power switch to ON.
