Inspection, testing, cleaning, and replacement of valves is accomplished as stated in paragraphs 2-37/48/49 and 51 under conditions speci- fied; replacement of valves maybe accomplished by the AVIM. Repair of valves consists primarily of replace- ment of individual defective parts as indicated during disassembly and inspection procedures outlined in the paragraphs stated above. 3-6. Instruments. a.   Calibration Calibrate each instrument of the tester by comparing its reading against standard instrument, gauge, or other applicable apparatus. Cal- ibration of the master instruments (those of tester) may be performed, without their removal from the test- er, in a manner similar to that used in testing a remote instrument. Refer oo the applicable technical manual for the particular instrument for range of accuracy in calibrating. Replace transformer. Repair or replace motor. Repair or replace motor. Repair or replace armature. Repair or replace motor. Repair  commutator. Replace bearings. b. Repair. Accomplish repair of instruments in accordance with the applicable technical manuals for the part numbers as listed below. Remove, disassemble, clean, and inspect the reservoir assembly tis outlined in para- graph 2-48.
