Set controls as follows:

Keep at 7 (32 kb/s)
DISPLAY SELECT .... SYNC TIME MSEC
Keep DATA OUT connected to DATA IN.
Press RESET:
Display must read 0.
Set DATA ON/OFF to ON:
Display must rapidly advance count (1000 counts per second).
Set OPERATION to 4W:
Display must stop advancing count and must display some number (representing the
length of time, in milliseconds, from the time DATA ON/OFF control was set to ON
and the time OPERATION control was set to 4W).
Press RESET:
Display must read 0.
