Blower Failure. In the event of a failure of the

BTS tubeaxial fan (1) 1B2 (fan), remove the rear cover

from the BTS to promote air circulation. Use an

external fan to direct air from the rear toward

the two RF modulation assemblies to cool them.

Replace a defective BTS fan promptly. Prolonged

operation without it will damage the BTS.

If a failure of the Centrifugal Blower (2) 1B1

(blower) occurs, turn off the 28VDC circuit

breaker on control panel.

Replace the defective BTS blower promptly.

Operation without it will damage LRU-1

under test.
