1. REMOVAL:
a.
Remove seal (1) by pulling up until seal is free of the enclosure (17).
b.
Remove four screws (2) from the Top Plate (7).
c.
Pull Top Plate assembly up and to the left to free from enclosure (17) being careful not to damage cable
assembly (15).
d.
Remove two screws (14), two flatwashers (13) and two lockwashers (12) from cable assembly (15). Disconnect
cable assembly from Front Panel I/F PWA (20).
e.
Place Top Plate assembly on anti-static pad, face down.
f.
Remove four screws (8), four flatwashers (9) and four lockwashers (10) from the Signal Generator PWA (18).
CAUTION
Separate the Signal Generator PWA from the Front Panel I/F PWA with care so as to not bend
the integrated connecting pins.
g.
Remove Signal Generator PWA (18) from Front Panel I/F PWA (20).
h.
Loosen set screw (4) on knob (3). Remove knob. Remove retaining nut (5) and flatwasher (6).
i.
Remove two stand offs (19) from Front Panel I/F PWA (20).
j.
Disconnect the four pin UTD test housing/Front Panel I/F PWA connector (P1) (11).
k.
Carefully separate Top Plate (7) from Front Panel I/F PWA (20).
I.
Remove two stand offs (16) from the Front Panel I/F PWA (20) by removing two screws (8), two flatwashers (9)
and two lockwashers (10).
2. INSTALLATION
a.
Install two stand offs (16) on the Front Panel I/F PWA (20) using two screws (8), two flatwashers (9) and two
lockwashers (10).
b.
Carefully join the Front Panel I/F PWA (20) with the Top Plate (7).
c.
Connect the four pin UTD test housing/Front Panel I/F PWA connector (P1) (11).
d.
Install two stand offs (19) to Front Panel I/F PWA (20).
e.
Install flatwasher (5) and retaining nut (6). Position knob (3) on Top Plate (7) and secure with set screw (4).
Ensure pointer on knob coincides with number settings on Top Plate.
