Test instructions
Normal indication
NOTE
Test point location

Resistance measurements
CAUTION
Disconnect test set
from AC power before
making resistance
measurements.
a.
Using a digital multimeter
40 ohms +10%
(see Maintenance Allocation
Chart, appendix D) set to
the RX100 scale, connect
meter leads to test points
A and B (AC plug). Switch
S1 to ON position.
b.
Connect leads of DVM to points
280 ohms +20%
C and D (circuit board).
c.
Connect positive lead to test
Greater than 300K ohms
point C, common lead to GRD.
Switch S5 to SHORT position.
Set DVM to RX1OK scale.
d.
Connect common lead to test
Less than 100 ohms
point C, positive lead to GRD.
Switch S5 to SHORT position.
Set DVM to RX1 scale.
e.
Connect positive lead to test
Greater than 300K ohms
point E, common lead to GRD.
Switch S5 to SHORT position.
Set DVM to RX1OK scale.
f.
Connect common lead to test
Less than 5K ohms
point E, positive lead to GRD.
Switch S5 to SHORT position.
Set DVM to RX100 scale.
g.
Connect positive lead to test
Greater than 300K ohms
point F, common lead to GRD.
Switch S5 to SHORT position.
Set DVM to RX1OK scale.
